Hey blog,

Long time no see. yeah i know i've neglected you recently, but don't worry i'm still here. So as you may know i've stopped podcasting.. to the world. Yeah I had to grow up, but i'm going to do my best to randomly update here and there. and plus tomorrow is going to be the best day of the year. why tomorrow you ask? because my new years horoscope told me that March 3rd is my lucky day this year. so yeah i'll keep you posted.

So it is the month of October!!! It is in the top 12 of my favorite months of all time! but seriously I really like October: Leaves change, weather changes, clothes change, new people, old people, you get to dress up and people don't look at you weird, carve pumpkins, haunted houses, candy, corn mazes, and so much more. So to start this month right I figured I would pay tribute to my family... did I mention that I have an amazing family???

Hello again!

Wow it has been a long time since I have done this, and seeing that there isn't going to be a podcast coming up anytime soon I figured it was my duty to update you on my life. Well lets see... I made a tie dye shirt recently

Yeah it was pretty cool. I felt hippyish. I think I'm going to start making my own clothes more often. (though I guess I didn't make it, I just colored it) Don't be alarmed that it is made up of blue and brown... All the bright colors were taken. Plus you know brown and I get along so well...

I rolled my ankle recently. If you are one of my Twitter Followers I guess you would have already known.

This was the worst I have ever rolled it and man it hurt. They tried to make me walk on crutches for 2 weeks but to myself I was like, "um... no". I think this was the fastest it has ever healed. Perhaps I was wolverine in another life.

What should I be for Halloween this year?

Well I guess that is all for this quick update. The title of this post is inspired by the song Fire & Rain. I was introduced to it about a year ago and I really like it. Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

WELCOME! Happy Birthday Blog!! Has it already been a year? Wow, I decided that after a year of blogging my page needed a make over. So it has officially been one year since the first podcast... wow! I can't believe how fast time has flown by! Thanks to all those that enjoy watching the podcasts, and don't worry there should be more in the future... I just don't know when... :-). Welcome everyone! I'm back from my slumber, yes it has been a while since the last podcast. So this podcast I decided to mess around with video effects and different plot twists (just like on Lost). Who knew podcasting could be so much fun and so stress relieving. I am trying some new things with the podcasts so let me know what you think. There are many things in store for upcoming podcasts. So you are in luck this week because you get another PODCAST! Yea!!! this is number 13 HERE.

Anyway, I liked my post so much last week I was going to talk about toys again. My sister (yes the same one that popped my dino) reminded me of a childhood toy that I loved when I was younger. It is called Glowbug.

He looked exactly like this. He would glow in the dark when you put him up to light. I used to have so much fun with him... until he was left on the lamp lightbulb and... melted...

The next toys were my brother's favorites. I got to play with them... well when he wasn't watching and when we would battle together. they are called battle beasts

Basically what they are is some sort of animal with super suits and weapons and they would battle for world dominance, I think my guys always lost....

And for the third item... well some more random Nintendo stuff that had more potential than children's minds could grasp. Introducing the Power Pad

This cool toy was for the first nintendo, basically you would run on it and your character on the screen would run too. It made for a good workout. It was the first "Wii Fit"

The second is the Super Nintendo SuperScope

Yes this is a giant bazooka. It sounds cooler than it really was.

and third is the Virtual Boy

Yes it is a game boy in 3D. basically you would attach your face to it and play. It was like a close up TV while wearing 3D glasses. Though it was fun, all the games were red characters and red lasers.... yeah I still wonder why I don't need glasses after that...

Blast from the Past

I realized that some people new to this blog or new to the Keaton Jolley Podcasts could be LOST right now looking for how it all began. Rather than file through all my old posts to find some of my first podcasts I am going to slowly put the first ones online just like the recent ones. When I first started podcasting, I talked a lot longer and I didn't do video, I only did random pictures. Remember this podcast is from back in April. So... I decided that I would ease you into them slowly, going backwards, here is a little blast from my past with THE THIRD PODCAST. CLICK HERE

In honor of this post the other day I realized that I love being a kid at heart. One of the things that influenced my life were my toys. So in honor of blast from the past I give these next pictures credit for influencing a small part of my life.

This picture is as great as it looks, when I was little I got a blow up dinosaur! Just what I always wanted... that lasted for about 3 seconds when my older sister decided she wanted to ride on it too... spiky never inflated again...

He still creeps me out, My Pet Monster never really was mine, he was my older brothers. This little guy was bigger than me growing up and scared me to death. I still have nightmares about him even though in his story he is a good guy.

Yes Nintendo made this list. I grew up with the original NES but my later childhood was based around the Super Nintendo. Though there was one thing for the NES was awesome/never worked... THE POWER GLOVE

Pogs? I got into them for a while, I'm still waiting for them to have their comeback movie so I can say I was there from the get go.

And I saved the best for last. My ninja turtles and I had some good memories, though it wasn't me that spilled ooze on the living room carpet. No, it really wasn't me, it was my brother.

The new year has come and gone and Keaton Jolley hasn't done a podcast. I'll admit, number 11 was a little forced so I had to do some searching to get back on track. I'll admit it is no Man Vs. Toddler or cool guys don't look at explosions, but it could be worth your while! This podcast I tried to get back to the basics and I actually had to cut out some of the podcast because it went long. I added more sound effects than normal just like the good old days :) so if you are ready, sit back and enjoy what could be the best 10 minutes of your life. I know I had a fun time making it...

Welcome to all you new comers and to all you... old comers? Welcome friends and Family. This is the official Keaton Jolley Blog. For those of you that don't know, I don't just blog but I podcast too. We have hit a record, 10 podcasts, as I just put the finishing touches on number 10. Now many of you might ask... "but on youtube they only go back to number 4". that is true. See, back when I started podcasting they weren't always video, it was just me talking with random pictures, kind of like a radio show. So podcasts 1-3 can only be found here on my blog. (just scroll down and click on older posts... i think you have to do it twice). If you are just joining us and have never watched a Keaton Jolley Podcast, you are in for a treat. I try my best to entertain, but basically for me it is just a fun way to relax and talk about nothingness... So here it is the podcast you have all been waiting for. Rediscovered Happiness

So this week rediscovered one of my all time favorite youtube videos. Now I know in an earlier post I was mad at youtube for blocking my podcasts, but they do have some good videos, and they did let the most recent podcast in. Then through surfing youtube I found the video again, it used to be on my bookmark bar and I would watch it everyday. It is also one of the only youtube videos that is over 10 minutes. I absolutely love the video. It is full of happiness, joy and romance. It is basically what every little boy could ever hope for. The smiles, the laughter, the music, help turn this short film into a masterpiece. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. If you have seen it, watch it again. Make it a part of your life.

Well after all the problems with Youtube and music rights, I think I have finally found a video site that will accept me for who I am, and will accept my podcasts. It is called Viddler... so here is the most recent podcast that I did, but this time with the original music that youtube wouldn't let me put on.

WOW!!! It is my 7th podcast!!! I can't believe it! Yaozzaaas! This one won, one wan on one wandering.... hmmm... it different from other podcasts... and a lil' bit shorter than the others... not by much though... I just enjoy making them. BIrthday Bash!!!

So it was my birthday yesterday!!! And I decided that I wanted to document everything, I will now run you through the day's events... The night before, (or should I say morning of) I was uplate studying for an organic chemistry quiz... so here it is July 8th in a nutshell

12:30 am. I decided to watch the move "A More Perfect Union", at the time I figured it was a good idea because I had a test on it in less than 24 hours.

1:30 am. Found out that "A More Perfect Union" is way too long to be watching that early in the morning, so I decided to fast forward through the slow parts.

2:03 am. Finally finish the movie, brush my teeth and try to get some sl

eep.

4:56 am. Wake up from a crazy dream of all my hair falling out while fighting grizzly bears.

7:15 am. Hit snooze on the alarm.

7:25 am. Hit snooze on the alarm again

7:35 am. Realize that it is too late to eat a good breakfast before class, quickly jumped into the shower and got ready for the day.

7:50 am. Realize that I have the possibility of being late to my

Organic Chemistry class, run down to the car garage and jump the fence to try to get to class on time. Sprint up the hill, with my backpack on, only to get winded half way up. Stop, catch my

breath, make a base camp and decide to finish hiking the hill tomorrow.

(ok I made everything up from sprint. Did you really think I would sprint?)

7:56 am. Got to class on time before 8:00 realizing that I could have slept in another 5 minutes.

8:58 am. Have a 2 minute break where I decided to go to the vending machine to get the breakfast of champions!!!

10:00 am. Finish Organic Chemistry and walk to the neighboring building for my 2 hour American Lecture.

11:55 am. Wake up from american heritage lecture

12:07 pm. Finally get out of the Subway line, and go have lunch with my cousin Rachel!

12:45 pm. Go to an organic chemistry review for the quiz that I have.

2:00 pm. Take the quiz

2:48 pm. Finish the quiz and rush to lab to get started on my experiments

3:00 pm. to 4:30 pm ish. Boil some thing to get them to react, add different chemicals only to clumsily spill my reaction, spilling all of the product down my work station, and have it evaporate quickly. Try to salvage anything that I can end up just skipping the last 5 steps to purify the product and run it through the computer for testing. Some how it worked and I got great results. Who knew you could skip all the steps and do so well :) (My lab partner in the background)

4:50 pm. Finish cleaning up my station and rush to the cougar eat to get something to eat.

5:03 pm. Dinner of champions?

5:25 pm. Rush to the library to finish some last minute reading and cramming for my American heritage test.

5:56 pm. Realize that 22 years ago at this time I was born.

6:17 pm. Talk the long walk to the testing center and begin the test.

8:45 pm. Finally finish the crazy test only to walk out to find my score posted on this thing...

8:46 pm. Walk home to do some more studying.

9:58 pm. Realize that I am sick of studying all day, it is my birthday! I mean come on!!

10:12 pm. Treat myself to a sonic drink, actually convincing the workers to come out and sing me happy birthday

between then and like 11:30 pm. I did little random things to celebrate my birthday

12:00 Midnight. realize that I have 2 quizzes in the morning that need to be studied for and end up just getting ready for bed.

So yeah that was my birthday!!!!!!! Then today Derrick, a good friend of mine and old mission companion (twice actually), ended up taking me to the Brazilian resturant Tucanos. It was also the celebration that we have been home from our missions for a whole year!!! It was great food and I think I'll be full for a week straight!

2:58 pm July 9th- Write this article, realizing that I have been home for a year. Look back on life and realize that I have been surrounded and blessed by good friends and family. Thanks everyone :)

THE Sixth super amazing podcast

After all the fuss and complications here it is....

First of all I would like to thank everyone who watches these, there have been more views than I expected. I am trying different ideas, and trying to find a style that I like so that they can be the most enjoyable for all of you. Please let me know what you think... if I never hear from you then I don't know what to change and I guess I will just keep making them the same way(though that isn't a bad thing).

I decided to throw in a picture for you all of my niece, Kate. My brother was in Vernal with his wife and their kids. She is my first niece and she is so cute!... now back to the podcasting.

Hope you like this one and I had fun making it just as I did with all the others. And now to end with some random words that come to my mind; May, September, Christmas, night, sleep, shirt, hat, possum, potato, tomato, shoe laces, elephants, door knob, ironing board, books, honey, car, sea shell... yeah that is pretty much it. If you can find what they all have in common and let me know that would be awesome.

Oh and one last thing, I guess I made this podcast a little long... like 13 minutes. Apparently you can only upload videos to youtube that are under 10 minutes, so this one is in two parts. I will try to keep them shorter, sorry for the inconvenience

So as I was DRIVING TO VERNAL for the weekend, I debated for a long time how I could jump back into the podcasting world. I really enjoy doing the podcasts but this time I tried to step it up a notch... maybe too soon. I might just go back to the old way of doing things. Anywhoo... it made me laugh a lot so hopefully everyone will like it, and if not I got some good laughs :)

Super Randomness

So Wow! this week I decided to do a normal post and not a podcast. Well truth be told I am home in Vernal and the internet is a little bit slower than normal... so it would have taken forever to do a podcast. Don't worry this post is going to be about as funny as this. So that means that it is going to be super duper amazing!!!

So... to start things off this Wednesday I finally get the brace off of my middle finger. For those that don't know, forgot, or just don't want to remember, about a month ago I fractured my finger playing football with some friends. I have been wearing a brace ever since... So that has made for some good times and some bad ones, I mean it is my middle finger.

In a little way I am going to miss all laughs it brings, but I can't wait to bend my knuckles again. So just know that typing this is a big pain in the you know what.

Next, finals are over. finally. It was a fun/stressful week for everyone. Spring term starts on Monday. what a break... it will be good to get back into real life and laugh again.

And Last, I am just going to start typing random words and phrases that come to my mind and hopefully you can understand what I am talking about. here we go.... car, jet ski, brown, money, basketball, leprechauns, porcupine pie, purple people eater, Star Wars, Elephants in the candy jar, the vent behind the toaster, Chuck just pulled your hamstring, bagels, and watermelon jack-o-lantern ... yeah that is pretty much it. have a great week!!!

Surprise NBA Playoff podcast!

Wow!!! I just surprised everyone with this podcast! normally it is only one podcast a week but seeing that the NBA playoffs are heating up I did a special podcast. One of my friends encouraged me to do it and I agreed. So this isn't like your normal funny business podcast, I just talk about the NBA Playoffs and my opinions. So it is like a "Basketballcast" or an "nbacast". There aren't funny noises or funny pictures, but just listen and enjoy hearing my voice. Oh and at the end of the podcast I put together a sweet clip show.

Wow... my first post. I never thought this day would come. I finally talked myself into starting a blog, and I am going to do some experimenting with it all. It might be kind of slow at first because of finals and such. Be patient with me as I learn the ropes because there is going to be some major surprises to come. It will almost be as good as this.
